Chagalesh project
During November 2006 Chagalesch Consulting Engineers Co.was granted this 100.000.000 Euro project.
The project involved the design, engineering and construction of a Light Naphtha Hydro treating and Isomerization Unit with a Capacity of 18000 BPSD complete with
all related units and facilities to produce Isomerate for upgrading Motor Gasoline Pool of Tehran Oil Refining Co.
The Tehran Oil Refining Company operates two refineries close to each other about 15 kilometers (9 miles) south of Tehran. The Number 1 refinery (South) was constructed from 1965 to 1968 and has a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day. The Number 2 refinery (North) came on line in 1973 and has a daily capacity of about 100,000 barrels.
During November 2008 Deep Blue Pump Co.(Akay Industries) obtained the contract for the manufacturing and delivery for most of the pump sets. All of the process pumps according to the latest API610 specifications where engineered to distribute various liquids. The total project from initial request to final delivery lasted over more than 2 years, after which the pumps are currently partially installed and will successfully be taken into operation as soon as the complete installation is ready. All activities related to the engineering, casting, assembly and testing of the pumps was done within our own premises after which the pumps where, and will be, shipped to there final location.
The complete order concerned over more than 50 pumpsets which where single stage and multistage pumps with horizontal and vertical execution. The pumps delivered ranged up until 670 m3/hr and a discharge pressures of up to 134,5 Bar where power ranged up to 630 Kw.
This project was also equipped with highspeed pumps with a speed of 22470 r/min.
